How To Double Your Sales With Special Offers
As a newsletter publisher, it is vital to understand that special offers will suck even more profits from your existing list even with the same group of leads. Without special offers, you are limited to how many people are highly interested in your offer.
The truth is that some people need to be pushed over the edge. They won't act without some special incentive to act.
This will give you many ways in which you can increase sales with special offers.
Special Offer #1: Limited Discount
The good thing about a limited discount is people are always looking to save money. That sparks interest immediately, and the limited time forces leads on the fence to make a decision. Yes, many people still decide not to purchase, but this is one method that will get some off the fence and into their wallets.
If it's not your own product where you can't modify the price, one thing you can do is offer a cash discount. However, never pay a cash discount until after a refund period. If a refund is offered, then wait until that period is over to offer the discount. Otherwise, you could lose money to unscrupulous customers.
Special Offer #2: Bonus For Purchasing
I go full boat on this one with my own leads. Since most of the products I sell are not my own, I offer lead-generation plans that work to build my ezine list. This has proven to increase sales. I know this for a fact because I have people email me after ordering to get the bonus.
A lot of internet marketers offer really cheesy bonuses like ebooks that are free, anyway. I don't recommend this because it's not original. If you offer something totally original, you can increase sales.
Special Offer #3: Private Membership
Increased sales a lifetime private membership. You do not have to set up a website and database to do this. Just tell them something like this:
"The first 100 people who purchase will get a private membership into my Solo Ad club. Each publisher in the club will win a program-wide solo ad for every 100 leads they put on their opt-in list."
Bottom Line: I know most of you that are reading this don't have your own product. It is vital that you set yourself apart from other affiliates. You need to offer something special that potential customers can't get anywhere else. This has skyrocketed sales from my list, and it will increase your sales if you have a good product and, even more importanly, a good and unique bonus for ordering
